Why should you give a flying shit about another animated show? Well... because they're starting to pull more stuff from the original expanded universe. Like admiral Thrawn... I have no idea if this lends any credence to the idea that the new Star Wars movies will cherry pick from the expanded universe but it's looking more likely. Quote
Malaphax Posted July 25, 2016 Report Posted July 25, 2016 I can never tell if this is netflix funding/producing the material or if they just have exclusive digital distribution rights. Either way they're going to do a movie based on Blame! which is pretty awesome. For reference they've already done some work with Knights of Sidonia (same author/artist) so I'm expecting it's going to be more 3dcg with rotoscoping but since it's a movie I also expect the quality to be relatively high.
