Riser cables/adapters always scare me a little bit but plenty of people use them and overall that case looks decent.

I would probably reverse the top fans though from what they are showing so they are intakes to take full advantage of the dust filter up there and there is lots of exhaust with those semi-open sides.

I have some personal issues with risers and vertical mounted GPUs but mostly because of the thermal performance taking a nosedive when you mount a GPU like that.  At least this particular setup has the GPU segregated from the CPU/RAM so hopefully some of the cool air flows directly to that side of the case.

I think this is another design that could benefit from a simple steel side panel with vents to allow intake for the GPU.  Bonus points if they managed to put a dust cover on the side panel.

Factal's Core 500 may be ugly, and 2 slots won't be enough for the next gen of GPUs, but it's still one of the few small box style cases that checks all feature boxes I want.

  • Fit's a 240 AIO cpu cooler and is mounted above the motherboard so it blows on VRM that may get hot
  • Dust filters on every intake
  • Open vents right by the GPU area
  • Fits ATX power supply (although STX or STX-L is probably a good idea)
  • No pointle$$ lighting
  • Correctly priced: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811352060

The modular design is really nice, they'll supposedly be releasing a slightly more premium version the Q500P sometime later this year.  It's an impressive design with some limiting factors for GPU/PSU length but it's one of the smallest ATX cases I've seen which is a nice trend.

New SFF cooler from ID Cooling. Claims it can handle 130W while being low profile and with a 92mm fan. I would like to see that tested. I also want to know how it would perform with a top down 120mm.

Cooler Master working a new SFF case. Looks similar to some of the boutique SFF cases out there but I bet it will be a lot cheaper. Does not look like it will have dust filters though. SFX PSUs are lot better quality and more powerful than ever before.

NR200 and NR200P. Apparently goes for $80-$100. The boutique cases it competes with are much more expensive.

I probably should have just posted a video review when I made that post. This does seem like a really well rounded ITX case option. Good job Cooler Master.

I guess Silverstone came out with some new SFF cases.

SUGO 15 - https://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=953&area=en

SUGO 14 - https://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=932&area=en

Some neat ideas but nothing crazy. I would definitely prefer the vertical placement aesthetically even though airflow I think makes more sense from a horizontal placement. Always happy to see real dust filters.

Just checked the prices on Amazon and they are both like $120+ so not cheap.
