I just saw the FJC MKV rolling down berkeley. Wow, it looks good while driving...and it had 17"

I can only imagine it lowered+larger rims...

You know I somewhat feel sorry for all the people jumping into the GTI mods too quickly... I'm hearing more and more people saying stuff like:

 

* DSG can't handle torque greater than 250 something from VW directly about that

 

* aftermarket intakes sounding good but hurting performance (except the neuspeed one that everyone raves about)

 

* chip mods with very cheesy advertised gains for MKV

 

* no true CAI despite what some companies are claiming

 

* etc. etc.

 

I think the people who want to mod their MKVs need to slow the hell down and let the market for mods settle a little....
