Malaphax
Quote Peter Parker tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens with his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man, and must confront a new menace prowling the skies of New York City. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2250912/ Much better than I expected. The villain is well played and has reasonable motivation. I'm also glad they were able to skip the majority of the origin story. There's plenty of marvel snark and some decent comedy but it seems to fit better in a spider-man movie. I'm still not a fan of how young spider-man is supposed to be but I can't fault the actor, I think he does a decent job.
kuhla
Villan's origins made sense. Villan's motivations made sense. Villan's goals were reasonable. A hero is only as good as his villain so that really helps spiderman come off well. The pace is quick, both scenes and dialogue, which feels appropriate. One of the better hero movies.
