Maybe a good idea to dump some stuff in its own thread as opposed to the general thread. I might post some stuff here later.

The ROG Swift PG65 Big Format Gaming Display brings 120Hz NVIDIA® G-SYNC to a huge 65-inch screen

https://rog.asus.com/articles/gaming-monitors/rog-swift-pg65-big-format-gaming-display-bfgd-120hz-gsync-65-inch-4k-with-hdr/

ehhhrrr I would think this was marketing to console gamers because of size but g-sync only works with PCs... sooo.... who is gaming seriously in front of a 65"?

It maybe serves some weird couch PC gaming setup?  I've heard it has a shield system built in, which allows for even better couch gaming from a pc.

Someone also briefly mentioned that this is technically classified as a monitor and NOT a TV, which might skirt around some of the taxes like the UK's BBC tax and Japan's NHK tax - that are levied based on the number of devices that receive television signals.  No idea if that's true or just bullshit.

I think it's pretty impressive because of the built in shield.  Although with that device basically at end of life I worry a bit about patches or security.
