The whole article is worth a read. I don't like hyping up news headlines but the potential is almost too great.

I read the reddit thread on the subject and there are lots of scary stories on where it doesn't work and what it could do to your body. Imagine if your immune system started identifying healthy cells as cancerous..... there's an upcoming BBC story on the subject of a failed trial in 2006 on the topic as well:
