This is based on a comic book series written by Neil Gaiman in the 90s. I did read that series and enjoyed it. It's much more about mythology and humanity than about any superheroes.

I have been enjoying the series so far, which has been pretty faithful to the source material, but the most recent episode I watched (#6) was really a standout highlight so far.

The trailer above is misleading because the show, much like the source material, is low on action and high on dialogue.

Unless they drive this show off a cliff I already am liking it enough to recommend it to anyone that enjoys fantasy.
