kuhla
imdb - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2671706/ A working-class African-American father tries to raise his family in the 1950s, while coming to terms with the events of his life. Notes: This was apparently adapted from a play and it's really obvious that it was. I know this does not sound great but I got about 15 min in and then turned subtitles on. imho this is pretty much textbook definition of drama. Viola Davis carries a lot of this movie's weight next to Denzel Washington. There is a point where they seem to say that as a long as a man does more good than harm then he is a good man. I'm not sure how I feel about that if it's meant to be the moral of the story. I think this is decent and worth a watch but if you watch the trailer and it does not interest you in any way then I don't think the movie will either.
