  1. Sag calculator: Also if I wanted to revisit the Home Depot materials as oppose to the monoprice, this guy made it work with a 39" depth x2 and 24" side depths.
  2. Season/Vol 2 was released and I've been complaining left and right about it on Reddit.
  3. The front looks like any other good modern Android phone (all screen with a pop out of camera). The back looks definitely stylish and unique. I like their camera layout bar vs. the pod design in Samsungs. Huge improvement there.
  4. The 12v battery on the Model S/X is well known to be a real sore spot due to the number of C/D cycles done on it where even an AGM battery could not handle it with more than a 3-5 year life. The S/X puts about 3-5 full C/D cycles on it and they tried to move the Model Y into a architecture without the SLI battery but it just proved too difficult at this time (safety being one of the biggest issues). It's something I'm watching carefully as well on my Model 3 since they didn't full solve the problem when I got my car and there were loads of Model 3's that had to get them swapped out pre-delivery because of delivery hell in 2018.
  5. What would you say is above average and excellent in terms of Comic book movies? Not sure if your scale is an absolute rating or a relative rating.

Spitfire and Bocek nerfs are here:
  7. I got a huge discount on my foam blaster by buying it directly from Chemical Guys at an Autoshow as shown on my Google Hangouts screenshot ($~25). They sold it for $35 at the show and I Chinese pennycented them into a 30% discount by buying more stuff. $25 is about what its worth IMO. Definitely not $50, as when you approach $100-150 you're looking at a pressure washer $100 + $15 foam lance combo. This is what the hose Foamer can do. Hose soap doesn't produce a lot of long lasting foam which is why i want an upgrade Versus a good gas pressure washer foam (>1000 psi > 2.1 gpm flow rate)

  9. My current setup is not very much but I plan to expand on it. I have ceramic coating on my car which requires some extra care so you don't want to use abrasive car washes, waxes, and drive through washes. It will wear it out faster. The standard solution is the two bucket wash solution. My current setup consists of: Bucket Chemical Guys Honeydew Synthetic Soap Chemical Guys Torq Foam Blaster 6 (not recommended at full price but better than a hand wash) Mammoth Towel for Removing Puddles - This thing is awesome Happy Ending Towel for Detailing Meguirs Waterless Wash & Wax - For temp detailing. I also use a waterless wash (although I found out that the wax isn't good for my ceramic) Process currently is: Rinse the car with water Spray foam on car with foam blaster and let it sit Rinse off foam WITHOUT scrubbing (this is the main benefit of the foam because the foam breaks down grime without the need to scrub/abrasion and scratch paint) Wipe off water with MAMMOTH towel (1 towel can hold a gallon of water) Detail up Also I have tire dressing to make that final shine. I'm currently looking for a good electric pressure washer to improve the foam output which is not easy. Considering this guy right now: Active Pressure Washer (Kits get expensive) Here's the whole pressure washer project testing Ryobi, Active and a few others. Foam lances themselves aren't a huge difference but the pressure washer itself has a lot of important performance metrics.
  10. The big question I have with any performance "oriented" EV is driving dyanmics. Tesla hit the nail on the head with how they tuned the Model 3. The suspension (multi-link vs. mcpherson strut), weight balance, and several other areas were tuned especially well for it to go on the track and handle high speed, and tight cornering abilities. There's still several upgrades (even tighter suspension) needed to make it truly go-kart like (which 3rd party companies like MPP have identified the best upgrades), but its pretty darn good.

So I've gotten every achievement in Season 8 reasonable (Treasure Packs, 110 lvl battle pass, the weekend things and even the mozambique challenge). Only achievement worth playing right now is Ranked, but now I can focus on having fun....
  12. It sounds like this is only used mainly in Minecraft.....
  13. RIP FORD https://www.batterytechonline.com/applications/autonomous-driving-systems-slash-ev-driving-range-25-percent?ADTRK=InformaMarkets&elq_mid=16407&elq_cid=5135691 For reference Tesla's custom developed FSD chip draws about 75-100 watts of power.

After some recent events, I've realized I should not restrict myself. I'm open whenever you guys are!
  15. Not EV related but Tesla Cybertruck related. This is part of the reason why I want a cybertruck: https://www.motortrend.com/news/cyberlandr-electric-camper-tesla-cybertruck/?wc_mid=4035:21157&wc_rid=4035:352657&_wcsid=BA813F757DB30AE22E39377C1D9156F285D06196ABF10F36 It would make an awesome EV camper with 500 miles of EV range, onboard 240v etc.
  16. At the time its just sitting with clear bumpers. I dont' see a need at the moment to add additional fixings. https://www.homedepot.com/s/everbilt%20clear%20bumper?NCNI-5 I want to purchase another one, and I also want to use that 2nd table top but i need table legs. I also don't want to do anything permenent yet due to a lot things being flux.
  17. These Monoprice table tops are pretty damn durable / good. I think I finally found my table top of choice (only $65/each too compared to the $200-900 butcher blocks I was looking at). 5' x 30" Ikea Limmon Table for reference.
  18. That looks really bleak for food production since the drought is impacting our bread basket farms....
  19. I feel like there are plenty of good alternative bull pup designs like the Tavor and Aug but oh well.
  20. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heckler_%26_Koch_G36 Apparently the G36 is being phased out of service and being replaced by the MK 556.
  21. Interesting limitation I learned regarding LAG on port bonding. 1 single TCP stream will almost always be limited to a single port due to the way the hashing algorithm splits the packets. Adding a 10 Gbps physical link won't increase the bandwidth to my NAS..... https://serverfault.com/questions/569721/can-bonding-2-interfaces-double-the-speed https://serverfault.com/questions/569060/link-aggregation-lacp-802-3ad-max-throughput/569125#569125
  22. No regulations AFAIK, mostly because range isn't usually big complaint/selling factor for the vehicle. Most people don't even know the size of their gas tanks.
