kuhla
**NOTE: In light of my ever evolving feelings towards Apple/Mac computers that have changed due to recent events and the culmination of time from then on, I have decided not to discuss the subject since I have become incapable of approaching the subject calmly and subjectively anymore. source - http://www.apple.com/legal/policies/ideas.html source - http://cbs5.com/investigates/local_story_1..._103023852.html source - http://www.dapreview.net/comment.php?comment.news.3204 (CBS 5) You wouldn't think a letter from a third-grader could change a company's corporate practices. But that's apparently exactly what happened after CBS 5 became interested in an unusual complaint from a viewer. A South Bay mom told CBS 5 that her young daughter's letter offering suggestions on how to improve the Apple iPod prompted a harsh response from the company. Apple or any of its employees do not accept or consider unsolicited ideas, including ideas for new advertising campaigns, new promotions, new or improved products or technologies, product enhancements, processes, materials, marketing plans or new product names. Please do not send any original creative artwork, suggestions or other works. The sole purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes when Apple's products or marketing strategies might seem similar to ideas submitted to Apple. So, please do not send your unsolicited ideas to Apple or anyone at Apple. If, despite our request that you not send us your ideas, you still send them, then regardless of what your letter says, the following terms shall apply to your idea submission. You do a child friendly cover letter - churn them out by the thousands - that softens the attached legal letter. You could also do an adult friendly cover letter. The legal letter might certainly be appropriate: but you don't have to be an A-Whole about it.
